How to check
Three checks that take ten minutes
- 01
Look up the license
Use the state's lookup page for the license number in the bar at the top of this site. It shows status and the name it is issued to.
- 02
Ask for the certificates
We send the insurance certificate to you or your lender before the contract is signed.
- 03
Ask who pulls the permit
It should be the builder or you, in writing. Be cautious of anyone who asks you to pull it for them.
Questions about the paperwork?
Call and ask. We would rather you checked.
